مان ماس ڪام پاس آئوٽ آهيان يار....

ممتا جمالي

جيئن ئي مون ماس ڪميونيڪيش مان ڊگري حاصل ڪئي ايترو ته خوش ٿيس جو خوشي جي ڪا حد نه هئي، خوشي ڊگري حاصل ڪرڻ جي نه هئي پر خوش مونکي انهي ڳالهه جي هئي ته هاڻي مان صحافي ٿيڻ جي قابل آهيان، من ۾ ڪئي اميدون هيون ۽ هڪڙي باهه جيان ڀڙڪندڙ اندر ۾ ڪجهه ٻيو به هيو اهو اهيو ته مان صحافي ٿي سڀبي صحافين جي بتي 

گول ڪندس جنهن وٽ ماس ڪام جي ڊگري ناهي، منهنجي لئي هوندي. مان سڀني جا مسئلا ڪندس.

ماس ڪيونيڪش پاس آئوٽ شاگردن جي اها حالت آهي

 خير مان ڊگري وٺي هڪڙي چينل جي سڌو آفيس ويس، گارڊ بهاريو ۽ اڙدو ۾ چوڻ لڳو “ڪيڌر جارها هه” حيرت مونکي به ٿوري ٿي ڇو جو آفيس ته ڪنهن سنڌي چينل جي هئي. پر مونکي به هجي روب سفا ڳوٺاڻي طبيت مان به چئي ڏنومانس. “تيري ڪو نهين پتا مين ماس ڪام ڪا هون” هن ماس ڪام ٻڌي مونکي ڇڏي ڏنو ماس ڪام جو هجڻ جو پهريون ڀيرو فخر محسوس ٿيڻ لڳو ته ڪيڏو نه ماس ڪام جو داٻو آهي، خير مان وڃي اندر ريسيپشن  واري کي چيو ته مونکي ڊائريڪٽر صاحب سان ضروري ملڻون  آهي، هن به اڙدو ۾ ئي چيو” ڪيون ڪوئي ڪام هه ڪيا اور آڦ ڪون ڪهان سي آءِ هو“ مان سڄي سوال جو جواب هڪڙي سيٽ ۾ ڏنو ته تم مجهي ڇوڙو، ضروري ڪام هه  مان ماس ڪام جو آهيان. هن خوبصورت ڇوڪري جيڪا خود مونکي گهڙي پل لاءِ وڻي وئي هئي هن مسڪراءِ چيو”بيٺو يهان”. نيٺ ڏيڍ ڪلاڪ بعد هن مائي چيو ته وڃون اندر سر جي آفيس ۾، وڃڻ سان ئي ڊائريڪٽر  سان مليوس،  ڊاريڪٽر حال حوال ورتا مان به چئي ڏنومانس سر مونکي ٽنڊو جمو خان جو رپورٽر رکو مان ماس ڪام مان پاس آئوٽ  آهيان. ڊائريڪٽر چيو تجربو گهڻو اٿئي.  مان به حيران ٿي ويس ته ايترو جو ٻڌايو مانس ته  ماس ڪام مان پاس آئوٽ آهيان پوءِ به تجربو ٿو پڇي..!!!

 نيٺ وري مون هن کي چيو ته سائين مون ماس ڪام مان 4 سال جي بيچلرس ڪئي آهي اهي چار سال  تجربو سمجهو, پر ڊائريڪٽر ماس ڪام کي تجربو سمجهي ئي نه پيو

ڪافي ارثي سوچڻ بعد نيٺ مجبور ٿي تجربي خاطر پريس ڪلب جوائن ڪيم پر هتي به ساڳي حالت،پريس ڪلب صدر ڇيو ته  نئون آهين اينٽري  تنهنجي فلحال نه ٿيندي هتي ڪجهه رولس ريگوليشن آهن مون رڙ ڪري چيو سر مان ماس ڪام جو پا آئوٽ آهيان يار پر هن ڳالهه بڌي اڻ بڌي ڪري ڇڏي

مان چيو سائين مان ته ماس ڪيونيڪشن ڪئي آهي ڪجهه ته رحم ڪيو اتي جيڪي 4 سال پڙهيم اهو به ته تجربو آهي نه، پر  هنن سينئر صحافين کي منهنجا 4 سال شايد اٽي ۾ لوڻ برابر به نه لڀي

ڪو رستو نه بچيو هو گهر وارن جي به ٽينشن ۽ تانا ته 4 سال اگر ٻني ڪرين ها ته ان جا وڏا پلا ٺاهين ها

تانن ميهڻ ۽ بروزگاري کان مجبور ٿي  تجربي خاطر حاجي ولو سان وڃي مليوم جيڪو اسان جي ڳوٺ ۾ صحافت ڪندو هو دڪان هن جي پريس ڪلب هئي، ولو وٽ هڪڙي رول واري ڪيمرا هئي جيڪا سيل تي هلندي هئي هن مونکي چيو ته ڪو مسئلو ناهي تون اڄ کان بعد منهنجو اسيسٽينٽ ٿي ڪم ڪجان تجربو ٿي ويندو

مهينو هلي خبر پئي ته ولو ميان ته صحافت کي ڪاروبار ڪري ويٺو آهي غريب جي مري وڃڻ جي خبر جا به پئسا پيو وٺي ۽ مونکي اها ڪيمرا ڏئي ڪيمرامين مقرر ڪيو ڪاٿي ولو کاٿي مان ماس ڪام پاس ڪندڙ شاگد خير سال پورو ڪم ڪيو ڪافي تجربو سچ ۾ ٿي ويو ڪي اهڙيون شيون ضرور هيون جيڪي مون ماس ڪام مان نه سکيون سال بعد جنهن به اداري  سي وي  موڪيان جاب آڊر ليٽر سيڌو گهر اچي وڃي هاڻي ته بس مان به تجربي ڪار رپورٽر ٿي ويو آهيان 
حاجي ولو جا سڀ کانچا مون وٽ آهن ، مان به پنهنجي پريس ڪلب حاجي ولو جي ضد ۾ الڳ پريس ڪلب کولي آهي .. 

Media students and the future

Many students want to join such a field or profession that should be standard one and make more respect with money in future, like some students have desire to became doctor, some want to became engineer while some want to became pilot. definitely, to complete the desires they have to study, work hard and have to do practical things related to the course for the success.no doubt, if they do so they will get success.

But what it is considered as same thing happen in media or for the students who study media or mass communication. I think there is not same thing like doctor, engineer because they have only one choice in their field they have to go in that limited boundary and will be called as “Doctor” or “Engineer”. While, media has been become industry in which the vast field are available like acting, hosting, reporting, filmmaking etc.

Thus mostly used academic discipline in nowadays mass communication encompasses different career opportunities in print media (newspapers, magazines and journals), electronic media(TV/Radio) and in advertising agencies etc.

But due to vastness of the field students are often confused in selection of the field where we have to go.in country like Pakistan, especially for the rural areas students there is always dilemma of career counseling due to that they select or goes in the field which is not related to them. if anyone want to go in science field unluckily they would be given another field. resultantly, some survive by hardworking and due to the teacher’s guidance while some students have to suffer for whole life because of not understanding that field.

Me being a student of media studies also face this situation in startlingly because when I entered, it was totally new for me even being a rural student I did not hear about this discipline from someone’s mouth, hence in starting when I joined the classes I feels unrelated and it gives difficulties because of my medical background but after one year due to regular attending classes and because of teachers guidance especially under the guidance of our senior teacher and journalist sir sohailsangi I got many things for learning.

No doubt, however mostly students comes in this field choicely especially urban students because of increasing respect of this field day by day especially from the journalistic point of view as it is not easy to raise or take the problems of others on own head and get solutions for those problems. this is why media is considered as the fourth pillar of the state.

But sometime for the others, media persons have to sacrifice by giving the life which makes troubling situation for the family behind that person.

As media aim to disseminate information to the public from local to the international level that from poor to businessmen. But to disseminate that information through proper channels it requires hardworking, energetic and skilled people which have good writing skills, creative mind set. And I think mainly students of media studies or mass communication are well recognized from the things which are related to this field. And they can make their field more professional by showing their efficiency and good communication skills as someone said “Good communication is as stimulating as black coffee and just as hard to sleep after”.
